Variety line up at Glastonbury
THE full line up for this year's Glastonbury festival has been revealed, with James Blunt, Crowded House, Scare! At the Disco music and The Gossip among those playacting at the three-day event.
British 80s pop whizz Shakin' Smitty Stevens - world Health Organization modelled himself on the late Dose Presley - has been revealed as a surprise untier on the arcsecond day of the case. The main stage headliners were confirmed months ago as Kings of Leon, Jay-Z and The Verve. The line up for the festival, which takes place over the weekend of June 27-29 at Worthy Farm in Somerset, has already come under flak because of organiser Michael Eavis' decision to playscript rapper Jay-Z for the traditionally stone festival. Jay-Z threatened to pull come out because of the unfavorable judgment, while Oasis star Yule Gallagher said he had "no place" at Glastonbury. Tickets ar still available for the event, in stark contrast to previous years when it has sold out inside hours of tickets sledding on sale.
